陈院士的科研生涯亮点纷呈，他不仅是世界上第一台科学用并行向量超级计算机的缔造者，还成功研发了基于通用性CPU的大型企业服务器系统，以及全球首台拥有128个刀片式设计的超级计算机，为超级计算技术树立了新的里程碑。此外，他还开创了企业协同作业的新纪元，研发出首个以互联网为基础、高效动态的企业协同作业中间软件，以及构建了一个以超级计算机为核心、实现全球联网的电脑网格信息网络，极大地推动了信息技术的发展。
Recently, We has announced another milestone by successfully recruiting a renowned academician with global prestige in the scientific community—Dr. Chen Shiqing, a dual member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the U.S. National Academy of Arts and Sciences, and a legendary figure in the field of supercomputing. As the founder and CEO of the Third Brain Institute (USA), Academician Chen has achieved world-renowned accomplishments through his outstanding research achievements and forward-looking vision across multiple domains, including the Third Brain, supercomputing, enterprise server systems, information networks, brain-computer integration, early non-invasive detection and treatment of neurological disorders, as well as early detection and preventive healthcare for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases and cancer.
Academician Chen's scientific career has been marked by numerous achievements. He was not only the creator of the world's first scientific parallel vector supercomputer but also successfully developed large-scale enterprise server systems based on general-purpose CPUs, as well as the world's first supercomputer featuring a 128-blade design, setting new milestones in supercomputing technology. Additionally, he pioneered a new era of collaborative work in enterprises by developing the first internet-based, highly efficient dynamic collaboration middleware and establishing a computer grid information network centered around supercomputers that enables global connectivity, significantly advancing the development of information technology.

陈世卿（Steve Chen）， 1944年出生于福建南平，美籍华人，美国国家工程院院士、美国艺术与科学院院士，超级计算机专家，（美国）第三脑研究院创始人兼CEO。1967年陈世卿从台湾大学电机系毕业。1971年获得美国维拉诺瓦大学硕士学位。1975年获得伊利诺伊大学博士学位。1979年进入克雷先生的公司开发自己的产品。1988年3月28日被美国 《时代周刊》 杂志作为封面故事人物。1991年被选为美国国家工程院院士，其后又选为美国国家艺术和科学院院士。2002年成立深圳蚬壳星盈科技有限公司。2018年出任四川大学锦城学院人工智能学院院长。陈世卿主要从事第三脑、超级计算机、企业服务器系统、信息网络等方面的研究工作。
Profile of Academician Chen Shiqing
Chen Shiqing (Steve Chen), born in 1944 in Nanping, Fujian Province, is a Chinese-American who holds memberships in the U.S. National Academy of Engineering and the U.S. National Academy of Arts and Sciences. A renowned supercomputer expert, he founded and serves as CEO of the Third Brain Institute in the United States. He graduated from the Department of Electrical Engineering at National Taiwan University in 1967, earned his master's degree from Villanova University in 1971, and obtained his Ph.D. from the University of Illinois in 1975. In 1979, he joined Mr.Clay's company to develop proprietary products. On March 28,1988, he was featured on the cover story of Time magazine. Elected to the U.S. National Academy of Engineering in 1991, he later became a member of both the National Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2002, he established Shenzhen Xianke Xingying Technology Co., Ltd., and in 2018, he assumed the role of Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence at Sichuan University's Jincheng College. His research focuses on Third Brain technology, supercomputing systems, enterprise server architectures, and information networking.
