On December 18,2025, the Hainan Free Trade Port officially implemented full island customs closure, opening Hainan's doors to the world. An increasing number of foreign entrepreneurs have ventured here, taking root and thriving on this dynamic land while co-creating new "Hainan stories" with the times. On January 18,2026, the port's customs operations marked their one-year anniversary. The Hainan Provincial Media Center released a series of micro-documentaries titled *Opening a Small Store in the Free Trade Port: Foreign Entrepreneurs in Hainan*, with its second installment, *High-Energy Entrepreneur Jay's Story in Haikou*, showcasing Slovak entrepreneur Jay's remarkable journey in Hainan.
