活动现场，国际人才依次参观各类主题成果展区，品尝不同市县的特色农产品，深入了解乐东特色高效农业创新成效，围绕热带农业发展、农产品出海、非遗传承等活动内容积极交流，为产业发展出谋划策。他们还借助丰收节直播平台向海外推介乐东农特产品，观摩农民趣味运动会，体验大安剪纸非遗技艺，切身感受丰收喜悦与黎乡文化底蕴。

At the event venue, international talents toured various themed exhibition zones in turn, sampled special agricultural products from different cities and counties, and gained an in‑depth understanding of the innovative achievements of Ledong’s distinctive and high‑efficiency agriculture. They held active discussions on tropical agriculture development, export of agricultural products, intangible cultural heritage inheritance and other topics, putting forward suggestions for industrial development. Through the live‑streaming platform of the Harvest Festival, they also promoted Ledong’s special agricultural products to overseas audiences, watched the farmers’ fun sports meet, and experienced Da’an paper‑cutting, an intangible cultural heritage craft. They experienced firsthand the joy of harvest and the profound cultural heritage of the Li‑ethnic homeland.

国际人才亲历感受了乐东的高质量发展，也作为联通内外的桥梁，讲好乐东故事，助力国际传播。下一步，乐东将依托丰收节平台，推动国际人才同本土农业经营主体深度对接，挖掘跨境贸易合作空间，以人才交流赋能热带农业对外开放，为海南自贸港乡村全面振兴增添国际化力量。

The international talents got first‑hand experience of Ledong’s high‑quality development. Serving as a bridge linking China and the rest of the world, they told wonderful stories of Ledong and supported its international communication. Moving forward, leveraging the Harvest Festival platform, Ledong will facilitate in‑depth engagement between international talents and local agricultural operators, explore opportunities for cross‑border trade cooperation, boost the opening‑up of tropical agriculture through talent exchanges, and add international impetus to the comprehensive rural revitalization of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

“Hello, my name is Nazir. I am from Haikou. I came to Ledong today and I am deeply impressed. There is plenty of food and fruit, all agricultural produce grown by local farmers. It is delightful to see people from all walks of life gather here to celebrate the annual Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival. We are here for the celebration as well. This has been a rewarding experience. I will recommend many people to come and join in the festivities,” said Nazir, a PhD candidate at Hainan University.
